Envision Thailand – Installment Three06.19.12

“For the whole law is fulfilled in one word: ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’ “
- Galatians 5:14

Over the past week+ I’ve been traveling non-stop, from a seminary graduation and visiting a Remember Nhu house near Khon Kaen, to photographing a church and a family’s ministry in Mahachi.

It’s still surreal that what started out as a pressing on my heart and a dream late one night in February has become a reality and that I’ve spent three weeks in Thailand already. The grace, love, hope and freedom I have witnessed, especially with the Remember Nhu houses, has been overwhelming. You know that something must be right when you ugly-cry in front of a room full of strangers.

After serving for three weeks I’m going to use my own funds and head down south to a beach for a couple days of R&R before finishing a little work in Bangkok and hopping a plane back home. I’m not ready to say goodbye to my Bangkok Family, but that day comes tomorrow. One week left in this country and I’m going to soak it in for all that it’s worth. Signing out, until I see you back in the states!

  1. These photos are beautiful! You have such a gift. Thanks for sharing them.
